nonsense.
Monday, February 7, 2011, 1:15 AM a lil disrespect and a slam on the door. that was how everything ended. i'm cool. i'm chilled. but the fact that someone who isnt 'superior' or anything took the chance to disrespect any of my friends, you're it. it really cracks my head to even figure out when our parents will start letting go, to let us soar on eagles wings, and stop doubting what we say. 'cause i know my limits, what's right and wrong and what should or shouldnt be done, to know where to draw the line. i guess one think about my mum is, she wants and sees perfection. and through that, she sees every flaw in me from somewhere i've picked up from; like friends. with that, she'll question every imperfection in me "why, you didnt used to be like that." i really dont know when my parents will start to see and get the point "people change". people change, pick up bad habits, do the wrong stuff, etc. they must know that some lessons are best learnt through pain and experience. its like, once bitten twice shy kinda thing. i still could vividly remember my mum reprimanding me during results day. it wasnt concerning my results. rather, they were reprimanding me about my attitude. but could they please question and think about the 'cause and effect' before reprimanding me? like why i would rebel in such a way? you wna know whats my reason? i wasnt shown RESPECT. i swear i felt like a servant, on my results day. the command of "show daddy your results. he wants to see it." how would you feel, when all you wanted to do is make your parents proud. to be honest, i felt like a dog. respect, is something a young adult needs during our growing years. i would close an eye if i were a 12year old kid. but hey, everyone needs some form of respect, before we start respecting you. and where were the 'please' and 'thankyou' our parents used to teach us when we were younger? are all these just part of their 'going through process/action' moments just to instill us with such values when we were younger? to just try to be a good parent in teaching us these stuff when they themselves dont apply it to their everyday life? and i thought that was already enough to 'make my day awesome'. my mum came forward to reprimand me "you're a kid and we're your parents okay." and today comes yet another drama. i had enuff really, i really had enuff of these nonsense. now, how sweet can seventeen be? p.s: i totally wished blogger had the 'like' button. to make me feel comforted that i'm not alone, that others are on the same boat as me too, so that we can start hi-five-ing tgt. :/ |
